I have a Nikon D60 from 2007 and was wondering if that will be good enough to get started until I can afford a newer camera. Im also planning on buying a 70-300mm lens.

I prefer my D40 over the D40x and D60, even for the same price, and since the D40 costs less, the D40 is the deal of the past two years! My D40 and its included lens is the best camera of which I know for people and family iIrJdb.
